Hard Drive Prices Skyrocket due to flooding in Thailand
In the past few days, the price of big-name hard drives -- Seagate, Western
Digital Hitachi, Samsung -- at major online retailers has shot up 40 to 90
percent or more.
Whether the profiteering can be attributed to manufacturers, distributors, or
retailers is unclear -- the middlemen don't post their prices -- but consumers,
businesses, and IT organizations are getting gouged.
With the increase in the pricing of hard drives, we are forced to increase our prices on New Hard Drives as well, please call for more info.
